Private Yoga Classes are designed for anyone who needs individualized instruction. For example, you may be a beginner who needs the personal support of a private class, an athlete with specific fitness goals you'd like help working on, or an older person with limited mobility who cannot succeed in a group class. We'll work together to focus on your individual needs and help you become the person you've always wanted to be.

Private yoga classes are also appropriate for any family or small group of friends (up to four people) who would like to learn yoga together in a small, personalized class.

Yoga Therapy is a progressive, holistic method for healing chronic illness, injury, or pain. At the first session, your personal health history will be discussed and any alignment and movement stressors will be identified. Then, Luna will design a personalized program of daily yoga exercises and lifestyle recommendations to address any health, alignment, and movement imbalances. We'll work closely together at 8 one-hour sessions to promote your optimal health and wellness.

Luna Anita Perkins is Certified Yoga Therapist (Yoga Alliance, RYT500) and a member of the International Association of Yoga Therapists. She has completed 300 hours of advanced training in Yoga Therapy with Ananda Seva, for a total of 500 hours of Yoga Teacher Training.

Scientific studies have shown yoga's effectiveness for the significant improvement of a wide variety of stress-related conditions, including: low back pain, arthritis, headaches, hypertension, depression, insomnia, anxiety, diabetes, asthma, cancer, heart disease, chronic pain, PMS, menopause, multiple sclerosis, fibromyalgia, and more.
